I never heard of Ken Ham until today. As a whole most people don't even know who he is.

Nothing in science is proven as science does not prove anything. When scientists say the theory of evolution them mean the theory of evolution.

Observation and evidence are facts, but how they are interpreted is what makes science the way it is. A theory is developed off of facts, but all a theory is is nothing more than a model to explain natural occurrences and predict future results. It doesn't prove anything as new evidence can make it change. But yes, theory does not mean fact.

I don't agree with Ken Ham, creationism is not science and should not be taught in science classrooms. But there is a small argument to be made in that science teachers in public schools don't teach science properly. Evolution is a complicated topic and there is a reason why there are graduate level courses on campuses that teach evolution as there is so much that is not known about it. To me the vast majority on both sides don't understand it and science as a whole. The issue with the left, though, is that they think they understand science and misrepresent it and end up treating it like a religion to where they refuse to listen to opposing viewpoints. The best example is climate change.

Yes, climate change is happening and has been happening for over 4 billion years. Climate change is a driving force in evolution. So what's your point?

Funny how this problem mainly exists in public schools and hardly in private schools.
