  5. sharper68 Slavery is unconstitutional and isn't practice.  There is not women suffrage in the US.  Jim Crow laws was a flaw of big uncontrolled and uncheck government something liberals love.

  6. sharper68 This isn't a liberal or conservative issue.  The constitution bans slavery.  The constitution bans women suffrage by law.  Jim Crow laws were created by government which were unconstitutional. You can place blame on whoever you want but  when we don't follow the constitution and give more powers to government problems happen.  While Jim Crow laws is an example allowing the federal government to have a big say in the market and economy is another.

  7. sharper68 Liberals overreach as well.  Take the false belief of women's suffrage.  Politicians push laws as in equal pay for equal work and violence against women's act that cater to one particular sex and discriminates against another.  We are suppose to treat everyone as equal here.  You can blame conservatives all you want for Jim Crow laws but liberals are just as guilty in violating the constitution.

  8. sharper68 The equal pay for equal work is a policy that forces businesses to pay someone different simply because of their sex, that violates the 14th amendment and isn't equal.  The Violence Against Women Act is unconstitutional because it is a law that gives women an advantage in domestic violence.  Hate crimes are unconstitutional because they give stricter penalties to someone committing a crime just because they commit a crime against someone of a different race or orientation.  The government isn't there to pick favorites or create laws that put any one particular group at an advantage.  If a crime is committed than the punishment should be the same no matter what the race.  Things have gotten better, name me one right that women don't have and men have.  Name me one right a minority group lacks but whites have.  I can name a situation where men are at a disadvantage, selective service.  Everyone over the age of 18, regardless of race or sex should have to sign up to selective service.  Equality should be that the law and rights cover everyone equally no matter what age or sex.
