@lelandsledge1905 because there is really no progressive movements but a bunch of shallow whiners. As someone who compared Bernie to Trump, Trump sounds positive. He is not going around saying he is going to take your money, or take away your healthcare, or force you to do things or how terrible things are. He is saying let us make America great again. Positive. Listen to Bernie. He is saying government is going to take from you but somehow we should trust it to give us healthcare? They could not even run an election Iowa. Bernie goes on these rants of rhetorical questions on supposedly things are terrible in this nation and we need radical reform. Or compare AOC to Trump during this virus issue. Trump is calm during his press hearings. AOC is wavy her arms around as if she is a child. Which looks better to the common person? Reality is that all far leftists want to do is bitch and complain as opposed to actually help.

What you have to remember is that this is not a bailout but a temporary relief program. We are in a unique situation where many people can't work where some, as in retail workers, can and have been a lot. But as a whole this is a unique situation where many need help now.

@tiger_lord305 Bernie is very radical. He does not want to do what goes on in European nations. The nations Bernie claims he wants to model have more of a flat tax, lower corporate taxes, a VAT tax, and no Wall Street. Bernie simply wants to tax the rich and hope that it will somehow work out even though it have never worked in history. He also wants to completely dismantle the current state of the economy as we know it. Fact is Bernie is a radical.

What I find to be very odd is that far leftists here complain about corruption and money in politics but their solution is to give even more power to the federal government. They feel that all we need to do is elect the "right people". Well, wasn't Warren supposed to be that? She disappointed. Read the comments there. Many are disappointment in AOC. To me far leftists are like that partner in an abused relationship. When they get abused they feel that marrying them will make it stop. It does not. So they feel having a kid will. It does not. So they have another kid and it compounds. With far leftists when government becomes corrupt their solution is even more government as if that will finally be the time it stops.

@maxsmart9116 , no, that was the recession. FDR came in and doubled down on what Hoover was doing prolonging recovery creating the depression. Again, that is why I said he turned a recession into a depression. When was the last time it took around a decade to recover from a recession?
