  1. You really can't tell if that guy would have been dead or not. Hindsight is 20/20. But, one man's story does not tell it all. How about the people who have to pay more for their insurance because of Obamacare? They are being held back to where they can't invest and improve which holds back the entire economy. The harsh reality is that we can't help everyone, especially when everyone does not want to work. So one guy is not going to persuade my decision to support the Obamacare repeal.

  2. Getting rid of it is the best solution. Getting the federal government out of healthcare is the real solution as it being involved in it to begin with is the problem.

People need to work towards being healthy as they are a burden to society and the healthcare system no matter what kind we have. Not really. .For example, if you look at state, local and federal taxes we spend more on education than we do the military.

It has problems, I agree. Mainly from teacher unions and from the department of ed. But it does have some success.

  8. Conor, it is true. We spend more on education than defense. And I do agree with the OP, we do have an obesity problem. Michael Moore made a movie complaining about the US healthcare system and he is obese. That, right there, sums it all up.
