They don't call it "safe space" because they don't view it as that.

It isn't. The standard of living is higher for younger generations. It has always been that way. Problem is that we have a bad combination over the last few decades 1. After WWII the entire world was rebuilding thus we were an economic powerhouse. It created the idea that people only needed a high school education and work at a factory to earn a living. They blame NAFTA for jobs going away when, prior to NAFTA, factory jobs were going away because of technology similar to how the tractor took away farm jobs 2. We were very spoiled in the 90s because of our strong economy 3. We have a large group of people who don't realize that the economy is changing and you have to take on other careers that may require skills 4. College was falsely pushed on kids where they are getting worthless degrees. That, and more situations created this problem where, despite things being better, many refuse to develop skills and get jobs that right now are not being filled.

To a degree that is true, but the problem is that excuse can only go so far. At some point you have to find a way to solve these problems and stop complaining looking for a handout. Very soon millenials that actually put forth effort are going to pull away.

@Pcgamingfixes , if you have compassion you would be looking at the entire issue as opposed to dismissing other people like you are now. There are many people who want to improve our healthcare system but oppose government take over of it, and they support it for legit reasons.
1
@Pcgamingfixes , the problem with the far left is that they really don't care. They claim they do but in reality they don't as their actions show it. If you disagree with them the far left will just berate you no matter how legit your argument is.
1
@Pcgamingfixes , again, it can only go so far. Eventually you have to find a way to break through. Keep making excuses and some of your peers are going to leave you behind. K-12 education is ran and funded locally, not federally. I support local programs. I don't call that a government take over and the local communities manage it through local government. You have more power over K-12 than you think.
1
@Pcgamingfixes , you do know that after those 10 years Trump will no longer be president and we will essentially have a new congress? Because 60 senate votes were not obtained an expiration date has to be placed on the tax bill. 10 years is not an arbitrary. In 10 years the new administration and congress will have to act. The pressure will be on them. But under Trump taxes were cut.

@Pcgamingfixes , Uh, 84% of funding for schools is state and local. 8% is private. That leaves 8% federal which mainly goes to at risk schools, or Title I schools. So yes, state and local governments run and manage the schools. For example, around 8 states did not use CCSS and less than 20 used NGSS. I am simply telling the truth.

J Leicht , far leftists are made up of many millenials. They are a bunch that I relate to the abused partner in an abusive relationship. When they are abused they feel marrying them will make it better. When that does not stop they feel having a kid will make it better. Still being abused they fell having another kid is the solution and so on. With millenials they cry about a corrupt government, so they feel more government is the solution, as if corruption will end there. With immigration, they complain about no jobs, but then support illegal immigrants who take entry level jobs that can give them experience. It is rather sad really. And a lot of their solutions drag other people down.

@blackflagsnroses6013 , Boomers grew up in a strong economy, but so did millenials. Also, the New Deal was pretty much dead by the 50s.

Several millenials need a safe space. Think about how the left push to bans certain speakers. Consider the book "The Righteous Mind". The author there did a study where he asked conservatives and liberals their thoughts on issues. He then asked them to predict how their counter parts thought of the issues (such as a liberal thinking how a conservative will think). Conservatives were much better and predicting liberal thoughts and behavior. The reason why is not really given, but to me it is because so much left wing things are being pushed on us through the media where people who do lean right now how they think, but also how the left thinks. But the left is hardly exposed to the political right and thus make things up. The research is out there. Kyle did not have to wait very long.

@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 why?

Well work harder

@jean-lucpicard5510 , what has been disproven?
1
@mgenetos , I don't stop responding. If I ever do it is because when a video gets old people stop responding to me. There may be a handful of times someone responded and I did not get back, but those are typically on videos that are over 5 days old. No, I am not in medical school. I am in graduate school.

810 land , when have I been slapped down? Take healthcare for example, I am the one citing experts and studies. Take climate change for example, I am the one citing actual studies. You say I don't have an original thought when I give long, detailed answers with sources. So when have I been wrong? Saying I am wrong is not an argument.
1
Millenials are a problem. They have been so spoiled and entitled that they have to create problems that don't exist. Look at climate change. They literally feel the world is ending in 12 years which is not what the IPCC report says. Or on social issues they claim we have a problem of white supremacists, they aren't.

@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 i agree

They aren't offended. They are pointing out the stupidity of the millenials.
