On number 1, the officer didn't break any laws, and it was an accident.  Move on.  On number 2, it wasn't read out of context, it clearly says state.  On the other issues I don't know much about, the only comment I will say is that when you have a bias site like Think Progress there will be details left out of the story.  Sometimes there is a situation where you have three sides, one radical view, another radical view and the truth, and the truth is hardly told.  But based on the first two there is a great chance there is more to those stories then what is being told.
