Democrats are too divided. Progressives are the problem and the democrats need to find a way to squash them. Really, the best route to take is to run Bernie against Trump and have Trump destroy him. Maybe than progressives will realize their ideas are not popular.

The political left has divided themselves because of the radicals like Bernie Sanders and Warren. Also, those same radicals are causing more problems. The problem with the far left is they refuse to have an actual discussion on issues. That includes Kyle. Until the far left decides to have conversations they are going to push more people to the right. If you want to win elections you have to attract moderates. You have to convince your ideas are good which the far left isn't. M4A may be the best system, but when you dismiss every criticism towards them as "republican talking points", you are not going to convince moderates.

@vegetavsluigi , Bernie is not popular, especially now that Trump is successful and people have had more time to think about Bernie's ideas. His ideas are radical and divisive. Bernie has no desire to actually have discussions on them. What will happen is that Bernie will be asked very challenging questions and he will just go on talking point rants. That won't attract moderates. Maybe M4A is the best solution, but you have to address the concerns of others such as people losing the private option, what will actually be covered, how much it will actually cost, the tax rates etc. Just dismissing them as "republican talking points" is not an argument.
