  1. It goes both ways. The ultra left is pushing all these horror stories on climate change and misrepresenting scientists so you scare away people from your position. Take a more moderate approach and you will get more people on your side.

  6. Daniel Pierik, evolution is not proven. It is a theory that is supported. Science does not prove anything. What science does is develops models which are theories and those theories predict future results and explain natural occurrences. It does not prove anything though.

The ultra left is misrepresenting science by creating these horror stories about climate change (which has been happening for over 4 billion years) to push propaganda to give the federal government more power. I think, as a whole, Inhofe isn't too bright, but I agree with him on this.

  9. "So what is your motivation to act like an apologist for oil&gas?" Right now there are a lot of uses for oil. "What's in it for you to poison our air and drinking waters?" Because that is not happening. "And what is most extreme? To push for clean energy or more dirty energy?" The majority of people, even those on the right support clean energy. Fact is that we have to allow it to happen gradually. We can't force it. The left is forcing it which hurts the economy. And while forcing it they misrepresent what scientists are saying.

  10. Nope, oil is still going strong and has many uses. No way we can run industry on solar, wind, geothermal or nuclear.
