  3. There are arguments that wages have gone up the past few decades. The young today have many things the old didn't back in the 80s. The young have smart phones, high speed internet, better computers, better cars, etc. Fact is the young always lean left economically until they get older.

  5.  @beaverones41  , a lot of degrees are useless. Most you can learn on your own. The real value is being active and getting involved to meet new people and become diverse. Evolution is complex which is why it is an advanced course in biology. Human impact on the environment is even more complex which is why there is no one course on it.

Look at exit polling from the past few presidential elections, the young typically go to the Democratic candidate. The reality is that the young typically lean left until they get older. This is one reason why both parties continue to exist.

Also, as usual, polls are unreliable as they are vague questions to complex issues. Opinions change when more information is given. Polls give a snapshot, not a trend.
