Religion is a culture of faith, science is a culture of doubt.  Richard Feynman.  Science and religion are different.  Trying to discredit religion with science is pointless in that they are so different in their end goal.  Science gives predictions.  I see people try to use evolution to discredit creationism when evolution doesn't explain the origin of life because it isn't supposed to.  It is suppose to give predictions. As a man who studies science I find it insulting that people make these comparisons.  Please stop.  Science is not faith, it is doubt.  It is that doubt that allows scientists to do more research and progress.  The second you remove that doubt you stop progress.  And religion does have it's place in society.  You may not agree with it which is fine, but that doesn't mean it is wrong.
