They, arguably, have a mental problem. Suicide rates are much higher for these groups of people. We don't want these individuals in the military at this point.

@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , because they have higher rates of suicide making them unstable. Thus in a stressful situation they become a major liability. If they can't handle everyday life without committing suicide what makes you think they can handle a situation where it becomes life or death?
