  1. So what? Clean it up. Here is the issue. 1. We need oil, period. Not just for energy but for other material goods. 2. Fossil fuels is still the best form of energy we have 3. Pipelines are the best mode of transport as trucks and trains use energy My solution was to put refineries up north, but leftists feel those are "icky". Sorry, but there is no ideal solution. Everyone knows these pipes leak, deal with it.
