This is why JD is going to lose. They have irrational standards and policies. They have no logic and are disorganized. This was 20 years. People can change and most people were dumb in their young age. But JD wants the perfect person in their party and overtime that will destroy the group.

JD was destined to fail. They are a group that wants to use the federal government as a means to give people things. While initially that may work, eventually power hungry and thus corrupt individuals will take over. Think about it, sure you feel the government should give you healthcare, and paid vacation, and retirement, etc. Thus you feel the government should control it. But do you want a corrupt individual controlling those things? And you may say "elect people who are not corrupt", but you will not know until after they are elected and have overtaken JD.

In a debate against D'Souza Cenk kept bringing up the fact that D'Souza went to prison. He did not want to discuss the issues, he just rip someone on their past, even though it is irrelevant and they served their time. Cenk has a history of ripping on people for their past. This is him getting a taste of his own medicine.

My take exactly. JD is full of snowflakes looking for the flawless candidate which will not happen. Also, Kyle is sympathetic towards his buddies and people he support but holds different standards towards his enemies.

So much for the revolution. This year is ending great. Trump's tax plan passed. JD is falling apart. Democrats going crazy over the tax plan. I had amazing sex last night. Man, 2017 is ending well.

"Start over, those staffers can be replaced with people just as, if not more, skilled & less naive" Like who? This is the problem with JD, they were going to fall apart within themselves. Why? Because they are a group based on the idea of giving stuff away to people and that is how they were going to get elected. It was eventually going to be overtaken by power hungry, corrupt individuals. This is one of two reasons why socialism on the large scale does not work. One is that eventually society stops working and stops producing as they become entitled. The other is that politicians running the show become power hungry and use to idea that the government provides to get into power. JD was destined to fail from the moment it started.

" In a Business you’d keep someone that could potentially ruin your base? What?" People change. This is why, on the extreme case, we have a prison system where even after someone breaks the law they serve their time, go through rehab, and become productive members of society. Attacking someone for what they said 20 years ago when they were in their early 20s is foolish. I have done stupid things and said stupid things in the past, I grew up. Others have as well.

"Care to elaborate or are you just gonna say dumb shit?" Easy, no one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. I guarantee you I can find flaws for every board member with Justice Democrats. In fact, this is a flaw in itself. They are anti-liberal. They do not allow people in their group who made mistakes in the past even though they have changed. They are basically saying that if you made a mistake or comment 20 years ago you are banned for life. No matter how much you changed and no matter how productive you are towards progressing their ideas, they will hold something you did 20 years ago against you. That is a death sentence at that point. JD is a joke.

So women did not talk to Cenk and he got all butt hurt? Boo hoo. This can explain why Cenk acts the way he does.
1
"Sorry but breaking federal law has more weight to it and against one's credibility then tasteless comments. " D'Souza served his time. Cenk did not apologize until he was called out for his comments.
1
Roy Moore's situation was allegations. Why apologize for something you never did? Trump's situation was locker room talk and was over blown and no one cared in the big picture. This is an example of how illogical Justice Democrats are and why this "movement" and "revolution" is not going anywhere.
1
Cenk if the king of digging up people's past and using it against them. What goes around comes around.
1
Kyle has a double standard here. He attacks his enemies on similar situations and allegations like he did Trump and Roy Moore. But for his buddies and the people he support he is apologetic towards. Here he is defending Cenk, but for Trump he attacks on similar statements. With Roy Moore he attacked but when similar allegations were brought up towards Bernie, or on the Jane Sanders investigation Kyle makes excuses. Pure double standard here. This is why Kyle is a joke and why his little communist party Justice Democrats is a joke.
1
" It's not a double-standard if the person's views on the matter changed and he/she apologized for it." Did you listen to Kyle? Kyle said this statement by Cenk was simply a joke and was making fun of himself. But when Trump made the "grab them by the pussy" comment Kyle said that wasn't a joke. That is a double standard.
1
Chris, the context is the same. It is both "locker room talk". Does Trump literally grab women by the pussy? Maybe. But no allegations have been charged to him. So on that basis he doesn't. It is all talk. Cenk, to me, is all talk as well. I have consistent standards. Kyle doesn't.
1
Chris, as an example saying "grab them by the pussy" is similar to if someone said "I am going to slap that bitch". Will they? Maybe not. I said things like that in the past but never followed. Others have as well. It is all talk. Do you want to punish people for thought crimes? Has Trump ever "grab them by the pussy"?

Remember when Cenk and D'Souza were having a debate and Cenk kept bringing up the fact that D'Souza went to prison? Cenk is getting a taste of his own medicine. People dug up history on him and used it against him just like he does towards others.
1
"if D'Souza wasn't such a right wing darling and party solider and was for example, some random guy or ethnic, I doubt the right or the GOP would be so forgiving..." Same can be said about Cenk. If he wasn't a socialist than many on the left would not be forgiving him. I sense a double standard here.
1
Cenk rips on people for their past behavior. When he was debating D'Souza he kept bringing up how he went to prison. He was not debating the issue. Cenk is getting a taste of his own medicine here.
1
"D'Souza broke federal law...admitted to breaking the law, and admitted that he knew what he did was wrong when he did it... Cenk's satirical yet tasteless comments is no where near the same violation of federal statues...so...? " Doesn't matter. During the debate it was irrelevant and off topic. Cenk was smearing D'Souza as opposed to debating the issue. If he can do it than so can others towards Cenk. "Sorry but breaking federal law has more weight to it and against one's credibility then tasteless comments. " No it doesn't on many issues. During the debate Cenk refused to debate the issue and just brought up D'Souza's past. Ben Shapiro said that is Cenk's strategy in debates and going into the debate with Cenk Shapiro said he was prepared to do it against Cenk. The reason why he did not is because the audience did not favor Cenk. When the audience favors Cenk he brings up his opponents past. "if D'Souza wasn't such a right wing darling and party solider and was for example, some random guy or ethnic, I doubt the right or the GOP would be so forgiving " I do not care what others think as I am a moderate. I am pointing out a double standard in the fans of Cenk. D'Souza served his time, that is what the justice system is about. No reason to bring it up in the debate. Just like Cenk made the comments he did nearly 20 years ago. That is in the past. Move on. Cenk clearly can't so why should we on him?
