You can blame democrats as well. Trump eventually opened the federal government. Also, what that showed was how little we need the federal government. Local communities filled in the gaps until it re-opened.

@Babygirlly555 , exactly. I have brought this up to Bernie supporters and they play funny games when you bring up this issue. That is who is going to provide healthcare to all and college education to all when we lack doctors and professors? They claim people will want to become them. I then ask where is the incentive to work hard when Bernie promises you healthcare, vacation time, a "living wage" and so on even if you work at Walmart? Where is the incentive to work many hours to become a doctor when you can live a "comfortable" life under Bernie's plan? Bernie and his fan base have no clue how economics work.

This was pure ignorance. Bernie had nothing but talking points. For example, if you cut the top 6 executives of Walmart to $0 and pay the $525,000 lowest paid employees that money they will earn an extra $147 a year, that's it.

@nettoyagedelamaison9557 , Bernie brings up CEO pay but does not put it in perspective. Even cutting CEO pay to zero and giving all of the money to the workers they will not see a significant raise. So what is the point of bringing up CEO pay besides stirring emotions?

@quijybojanklebits8750 , you see the intelligence level of C W. I just ignore him now as he provides no substance. There are plenty of companies besides Walmart, even online stores. I haven't been in a Walmart for a long time. The last time I went there was to buy oil and a filter for my car because they offer the oil I need at the lowest price. But I shop elsewhere for everything else.
