  2. The 40% stat is a myth. The Washington Times did an article entitled "The Gun Show Loophole Myth" It broke down the stats pretty well in where only around 4% of gun sales are at gun shows, and typically through license dealers. But again, don't let facts get in the way of propaganda.

They fail to see this mainly due to their ignorance on guns. Take high capacity magazines. The VA Tech shooter killed over 30 people with a 15 round magazine and a 10 round one.

  4. Here is a fact on gun violence. Gun homicides have been dropping since 1993. That is a mind blowing fact as well. High death rates by guns are because of suicides which is not a gun issue at all. Japan has strict gun laws but a high suicide rate. When you remove suicides from the equation you see a dropping rate. But, you know, don't let facts get in the way of great propaganda.
