Taylor Bell, Kyle is a hack. People saying he will receive union protections are wrong. If he gets fired he cannot go to the union for help like others can. Wages and benefits are usually on par with the rest of the market, including his co-workers so that is a non-issue.

The Humanity, republicans support unions. They oppose the idea of forcing people to join them. Also, there is this thing called "crony unionism". You despise crony capitalism where businesses pay off politicians, the same happen with unions and the government.

Sam Hyena, the "union benefits" is representation if he become sick and can't work or gets fired for questionable reasons. Things like vacation and wages will be given to him because he works under the same roof as the other others. If the other workers are paid $30/hr he will be as well as that is the market rate. In fact, it would behoove the unions to have him paid the same because if he was paid say $25/hr than the business will stop hiring union workers and hire non-union workers as they are cheaper.

Corey Thompson, go to "opensecrets" and they have a list of donors. To be fair it isn't that easy as looking at a list as donations can be tricky depending on definition. For example, a worker at Walmart can donate to a democrat but since they work at Walmart it is counted as a contribution from Walmart, even if they oppose the company. But if you look at opensecrets a lot of top donors are unions.

HoosierGhoul, you are correct. Unions are just as corrupt as businesses. Unions can be valuable in a free market, but we do not have that.

I live in a right to work state and we have vacation and healthcare as well. I also lived in a pro union state. It isn't a "night and day" difference. Stop making things up.
