There are a lot of free loaders though. That is the problem. This is why I support smaller, more local government as you can stop the free loaders easier.

SeanMcFarlinTRE, there are a good amount of people who refuse to work. I am not saying all, or even most. But there are a good amount. You will find that with any federal program. With more local government to can prevent people like that. But to say there are not any is asinine. That is why no republican is suggesting to cut it all together as there are people who use it and work hard. However, there are freeloaders and it pisses off the middle class which is why democrats lost.

Dicktrickle, democrats lost touch with the middle man. They catered to free loaders and were dancing around with their celebrities. I can see that in my community and can have a personal connection with them. You can't see that at the federal level. I have also supported making welfare a work related program to where you have to do community service in order to get paid. Pick up trash or clean parks which will make the community look better. Where is the evidence that Medicaid works? It goes both ways. Again, there amount of poor in this country is actually minute. Thus the freeloaders are minute. But they exist. And my solution is strong and at the local level can become a work program where people work in picking up litter or cleaning parks. That will really remove freeloaders as if you can't work you do not get paid.
