The federal government should not fund planned parenthood, period.

It takes two to tango. If the woman is willing to have sex with the man without a condom than that is also the woman's fault.

Rape is illegal. At that point you are changing the topic now. If someone is raped than the discussion completely changes. I can put locks on my doors and tell people they can't come in. But if they break in, steal my stuff and kill me, than what? Maye the government should give me free access to an M16 so I can blow them away. Where do you want this conversation to go now?

Sonik, why are they not reliable sources? How are they wrong? Just saying they are not reliable is not going to cut it.
2
Planned parenthood should not be funded by the federal government at all. It is unconstitutional.

Three things 1. If you fund PP with money then they can allocate other funds for abortions. So even though those federal dollars are not being used directly for abortions, it allows them to free up funds from other sources or abortions 2. By definition that fetus is a living thing, I love how liberals refuse to accept science 3. To me I don't like funding for PP with federal dollars because it is unconstitutional. To me the discussion ends there.

"You're paying into oil subsidies, is that government handout ok with you? " One, you are deflecting. Two, with me I don't agree with them either. And many republicans don't as well. Believe it or not but many supporters of republicans complain about things that go on in their party as well.
1
Sean, the left has pushed for subsidized on "green" energy as well. Where is the complaint on the left for that? Also, PP gave money to Clinton for her campaign. Where is the complaint about money in politics by the left on that? If you want to bring up hypocrisy we can and it exists on both sides. This is why I don't affiliate with any party.

Sean, than the man should have wore a condom. Or maybe the man should not have to pay for child support if they don't want the kid. In the end the woman has more power than they know based off of Bateman's principle. This is not to be rude, but I will bring up the fact that liberals love to claim they support science. But in this case Bateman's principle, which is science, says that the woman has the power in who they have sex with. So why do people make women out to be the victim?
1
Birth control is very cheap, especially condoms. The reason why people get pregnant is mainly because they do not know how to properly use contraceptives.
1
If a man refuses to use a condom than the woman should say no. It is that simple.
1
So you want to increase the rate of STD infection then?
1
Men have to pay child support. And women can always say no. Look up Bateman's Principle.

Funding PP is unconstitutional.

Quinton, point to me where in the Constitution it says the federal government can fund PP.

Dip Jay, read the constitution. Aritcle I: Lays out the responsibility of the legislative branch Article II: Lays out the responsibilities of the executive branch Aritcle III: This is for the judicial branch In all three of those articles it lays out the responsibilities of those branches in the federal government and what they are allowed to do. No where does it say anything about funding for planned parenthood. But let me ask you this, the Republicans are about to go nuclear on the SC pick of Gorsuch. Do you agree with that? No where in the Constitution does it say they can't.

A lot of liberals are too greedy with their money. For example, Bernie Sanders owns three homes.

"Sounds to me like you're backed into a corner with nothing but the filmsiest of excuses to back up your ignorant prejudices." Nope, I have standards in how the government should function and how laws should be created. The standards lie in the Constitution. If you were to get into a discussion with me on abortion I really don't have a stance. If you were to really push me on the issue I will lean left as I feel that abortion, if done rarely, can be a way to save society money. At the same time it can be considered murder as I do see the right's position on it as well. "Sure, it's living, but it might not be brain-active. A mother has no obligation to carry a baby to term if it threatens her life or she lacks the resources to care for it." If it threatens her life that is one thing. If she lacks resources there is always adoption. Now our adoption program has many foster kids which is another argument for abortion. But adoption is an option. "So when the cycle of poverty is created with shit wages" Now you are deflecting to another discussion. To me wages are not a problem as goods and services are better and cheaper. Lack of opportunity is due to liberal policies (such as the min. wage kill jobs for teenagers hindering their growth). But in the end the discussion ends with the fact that federal funding for PP is unconstitutional.
