Also, Bernie praised Castro in saying he educated their society and gave them healthcare. Many Bernie supporters claim that Bernie just wants to give you healthcare and an education......I hear that I and think "like Castro did in Cuba".

A flat income tax with a consumption tax At the state level it all depends on the individual state and what their citizens want.

That is true especially in the US with 320+ million people and our diverse culture. Consider how many states don't even have an income tax. That alone should show you how complex the issue is.
