  1. How come you are not seeing these fires in other states? The reason is because CA is not ran well. Instead of doing forest management they are giving away free needles to drug addicts. Also, this is why so many are skeptical on the issue of climate change. You blame everything on climate change. When you keep calling wolf people tend to ignore you.

  2. Christian, what evidence that extreme droughts are due to climate change? There have always been droughts. The worse droughts were in the 30s and 50s. Ever heard of the "dust bowl"? Also, Oregon is experiencing droughts but don't see these fires. Even if climate change is causing these droughts what we have to do is adjust to them. That means control burns and cleaning up debris.

  6. I can see Kyle is pushing the whole climate change issue. This is why many are skeptical of climate change. When you cry wolf as much as you do by blaming everything on climate change than people tend to ignore you. There is an argument to be made in doing control burns and cleaning up debris in the forest. But ignore that, just scream "CLIMATE CHANGE!" with no actual solution.

  10. Trump has a lot of success and when he speaks that is not directed to the general population he sounds very intelligent. He is talking to the general public so he has to, for lack of a better word, "dumb down" what he says. No different than when Bernie rants about "millionaires and billionaires" or when politicians call for "common sense" gun control. They are acting like politicians.

  15. Heather, Trump is giving responsibility of federal land to the states. CA is responsible for that land at that point. Why are we not seeing fires like these in other parts of the nation?
