Amazes me how foolish people are. Do people not think Warren is not doing this for her own benefit? And if she did run for president, and did get elected and did what the people "wanted" (that can be debated, I don't support her), what is going to stop the future the president from abusing the system she sets up where the fed. has no limits.

Those tax evasion are regulations, they are regulations in the favor of the businesses and the federal government. But I guess what we need is more government, something Warren supports. Because that has been stopping these type of things so far......

You support smaller banks, but you also support Sanders and Warren for the executive branch who will push for a larger federal government. The reason why we have strong big banks is because of the federal government. People ripped on someone like Ron Paul for supporting state rights and limiting the size of the federal government. I especially heard it from the left. But yet I always hear complaints in how the federal government is hand and hand with the big banks. I have to ask you this, when Sanders and Warren develop a federal government that can step out of bounds on it's limitations with no one checking it, what is going to stop the future corrupt presidents from abusing that power?

Stikibits The banks wouldn't have power if they couldn't buy it from the federal government. The federal government wouldn't have power to be bought if it didn't have it to begin with. You blame Reagan in this when it goes back farther than that. Look at FDR, he expanded he size of the federal government. He dies and than future politicians took advantage of that. If Sanders and Warren actually did what the "people wanted" (I beg to differ, and I feel that they are fascist qualities themselves), than what is going to stop the future politicians form taking advantage of the new power they gave the fed?

Stikibits You are blaming the individual, you need to stop that. You need to blame the system that was created that can be so easily screwed. My professor had our class read a book that basically ripped on Reagan and J. Edgar Hoover. He kept asking if we dislike Reagan yet and I said no, I disliked the system. You can't blame Reagan and Hoover doing what they did to get into power. Much like I can't blame Obama for doing what he did to get into power. Or if Warren and Sanders get in to power and someone in the future takes advantage of it to get into power. They system was in place for someone to take advantage of. You can blame individuals all you want but in the end this is nothing more than the system being messed up, and you are doing nothing but supporting making it worse.

Stikibits How powerful is your vote at the federal level? I have no say in Nancy Pelosi getting elected but she did, and she was put in place to be third in line for the presidency. Think about that next time you vote for federal elections as opposed to state and local ones.
