Saying wages are stagnate is not exactly true. Due to more technology productivity has gone up (not because workers are working harder, if anything they are working less) and there are more goods and services that are better. People are able to buy better cars, computers, phones, TVs and so on. The purchasing power of individuals is higher which is expected. Food should be cheaper but it isn't because of more regulations on businesses such as the min. wage. When the government starts to tamper with the economy and do price control it hurts those with little money. But to say wages are stagnate isn't true. Money in politics wouldn't be a problem if the federal government didn't have power to begin with.
