It is a slippery slope. How far are you willing to go to let the government force you to do something?
2
The issue is that police brutality are rare, isolated events and should be treated as such. However, those protesting against it have no desire to have a conversation.
2
@waspoppin4784 it is. This virus is not that dangerous. Masks are being pushed by the left to keep pushing the idea the virus is dangerous to try to beat Trump.
2
@waspoppin4784 here, imagine being so dumb to be scared of a bug you have an over 99% chance of dying from. Imagine being dumb feeling we cannot go back to normal because of a bug with declining deaths.
2
No, this virus is not that dangerous. Time to get back to normal.

@anikmonette2140 the virus is not that dangerous. Consider this, FL is seeing record number of cases and their current 7 day death average is 48. On May 8, even with the lock downs, their 7 day average in deaths was 51. So with or without the lock downs deaths still happen. In some states, like GA, they are seeing a drop after opening up.

@debaronAZK not saying I am an expert, I just know more than most here. Also, most of the time I cite experts and data in my arguments. I just don't shout talking point like Kyle and his fans do. And my conclusions are also that these issues are complex. I look at both sides of the issues. Take climate change, for example. People here still call others deniers even if they say that climate change is real, they just feel it is not a threat. That is far left people her have gone. And even when I cite scientists on the issue I get dismissed.

@brendenpeterson5684 you have to put numbers in perspective. A Penn State study suggests that the virus is not so much deadly but spreads fast. They suggests that early case numbers were 80 times higher than recorded. That would mean NY would have had over 5 million cases in March. What they suggest is that the virus spreads fast and some places have overran, mismanaged healthcare systems to begin with. NYC is one. Thus, with the virus spreading so fast it overran healthcare systems that are already overran to begin with leading to some not receiving care. But, right now cases are up in many parts of the US but deaths are still low because their healthcare systems are not overran. Overall, this virus is not that dangerous.

Prophet you have issues bud. I told you why I won't call Sam. He will just cut me off as that will be his turf. And no matter how well I do people like you will still say Sam won. Think about it, Sam has never apologized for his remarks about the Convington kids. He does not cover stories such as the Bubba Wallace one making, in question, if racism is an issue. He does not call out left wing politicians like Bernie Sanders when he jumped the gun on the Jussie Smollett issue. This is why your side is such an easy target and has failing youtube stations. You have zero standards. The Liberal Hivemind is a new right leaning channel that already gets way more views than Kyle and Sam.
1
@debaronAZK because I read the comments here and all I get is nothing but talking points. I never said climate change wasn't real. It has been happening for over 4 billion years. And man does play a role. The question is how much. Read Prof. Mike Hulme's book "Why We Disagree About Climate Change". He is a respected researcher in the field. In fact, he has a recent Nature paper entitled "Why setting a climate deadline is dangerous" Where he expressed concerns about these climate alarmists saying we have 12 years to act. Your side listens to AOC and a teenage girl on the issue. I listen to the actual science where here I cited an expert.
1
@debaronAZK find me a time that I said climate change is not real.
1
Prophet you can tell it is not me because I never said taxation is threat. Until you quote me saying that than you have proof. You don't.
1
If you live in NJ chances are you already got the virus as that state has herd immunity.
1
@clintholmes2061 there is push to lock back down by the left. Also, at this point the virus as a whole is politicized to try to beat Trump. However, numbers are coming out everyday showing it is not dangerous. Thus we need to get back to normal, that means no masks. Consider this, cases are up but deaths are not. In FL, for example, their current 7 day average in deaths is 48. On May 8 it was 51. So regardless of lock downs the death total did not change there. And, overall, it has gone down in the US even with record cases. So why keep doing what we are doing?
1
@bigbrother787 there is direct evidence on the smoking part.. With the virus it is showing not to be dangerous. We need to get back to normal.
1
@bigbrother787 when you give numbers you have to put them in perspective. The death count is the value it is because of how fast the virus spread, not because it is deadly. A Penn State study suggests the early number of cases was actually over 80 times higher than what was recorded. That means over 5 million in NY had it. What happened that some places have overran healthcare systems that are poorly managed, like NYC. Now add in a virus that spreads quickly and it created more of a mess in healthcare leading to deaths. Currently we are seeing record cases in some states with almost all having no increases in deaths, and those that do is very low. Look at FL, for example. Their current 7 day average in deaths is 48. Their peak was on May 8 at 51. That was with the lock down measures. It is showing that what we do is pointless at this point.
1
The issue is that how far are you letting the government go to force you to act in a certain way? Also, it keeps pushing the false narrative that this virus is dangerous. It is not. Cases are at record high but deaths are still down. In FL, for example, their 7 day average in deaths is currently at 48. In May 8 it was at a peak at 51, even with a shutdown. So at this point what we do is irrelevant when it comes to the virus. We need to get back to normal..
1
Most deaths are from democrat ran states whose healthcare systems are weak to begin with. This is not Trump's fault.
1
The issue is that this virus is not that dangerous and we need to get back to normal. The left does not want that as it makes Trump look bad.
1
I do condemn it even though I feel masks are just virtue signaling at this point. The virus is not that dangerous. We need to get back to normal.
1
@memebump7612 right now a lot of states are open and are seeing record cases with low deaths still. In FL, for example, their 7 day average in deaths was 51, now it is 48. So regardless of lockdowns or not the death count there is not changing. Thus making most of what we do irrelevant. The death count is where it is at because the virus does spread fast. A Penn State study suggests that early infection numbers were 80 times higher than what was reported. That would mean over 5 million in NY had it in March. So it isn't that the virus is deadly but spreads fast. In some parts of the world the healthcare system is overran. In the US NYC has a poor, overran healthcare system. So what happened is that so many in those areas got the virus so quickly that it overran their systems causing deaths. Where now, in places that do not face those issues, despite record cases deaths are not going up. In all, the virus is not that dangerous. The lock downs were necessary as it was new, but now it is being revealed that nothing of what we do matters..
1
@memebump7612 that study was published in Science Translational Medicine, a very prestigious journal. I doubt it is flawed. You can read a summary about it in Penn State News entitled "Initial COVID-19 infection rate may be 80 times greater than originally reported" A journal with an impact factor of 17 hardly publishes flawed studies. Also, look at current deaths, they are low despite record cases.
1
@memebump7612 it does matter. You can find one incident here and there of a study being retracted, but it is rare. If it is done too much the journal loses credibility.
1
@memebump7612 I do have doubt a study can be wrong. However, the odds are very low. Add to the fact that the CDC said that the case numbers are actually 10 times higher than what is reported, and the people who had no symptoms, I would not be surprised if the number of cases was much higher than what is reported. There is also evidence of herd immunity in states who got slammed early such as NY and NJ. There are doctors out there that are not worried, though. Take Stanford Prof. John Ioannidis for example. He says we are overreacting. I am not worried because deaths are not going up despite record cases. And based on what I see states like FL, GA, NV, AZ, CA and TX are going to reach herd immunity over the next 20 to 40 days. They are at their peak now.

@Username-ei4ff I have been in public since day one and around friends.
1
@billhicks8 except, it is not me. You guys will believe anything.
1
Prophet how is Trump a fascist? Here is the irony here. When you have city blocks being overtaken by protestors the local government officials blame Trump for not acting to improve the situation. But if Trump were to do something to break up those violent areas, those same officials will call him a fascist. It also begs the question if the current situation all lies on Trump, where do we need all the mayors and governors? You guys have no standards.
1
Prophet how am I a fascist?
1
Prophet you are the one who supports Sam Seder who praised Youtube censoring two doctors on the issue of the virus.
1
Prophet doesn't prove anything. On the first point the left is fascist. So they will shoot first but fail. It will be defense on my part. And I stand by my point on riot police. Get out of the way. You don't you are hostile. So again, how am I a fascist? You are the one supporting the left who keeps pushing lock down measures.
1
Prophet " political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition" "a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control " From Merriam Webster. So it isn't just with the right. Both sides can be fascist. Do basic research. "The right wing also are responsible for the vast, vast majority of terrorism." That is false. Look at which protestors are violent? They are pushing for literal communist. I do not see people on the right taking over city blocks leading to kids' death. I would not have a problem killing in self defense. Most won't. I known many who done it and were fine. I would blame the 2 year old's parents. You do not stand in the way of a riot squad marching down the street. How would you feel if, as they told him to move, he pulled out a gun and killed two cops acting murderous and suicidal? BLM is not a legal organization. They do not have authority. But, I would question why that person is there to begin with in a potential hostile situation. Just like I said in the past, in the Charlottesville incident the only bad thing that happened was a nice car was destroyed. Anyone who was harmed or killed there knew the situation was violent and can rise to that much. When did Trump ever asked to execute a black man?
