You can't. That is the issue. It is no different then the 45,000 deaths Kyle points to related to lack of access to healthcare. You can't draw a strong connection. If you search scholarly articles on this issue you will have a very difficult time finding a direct answer.

Funny, a Yale article entitled "U.S. Air Pollution Deaths Nearly Halved Over Two Decades" Said air pollution has been dropping.

Several issues here. One, hard to predict how someone dies on cases like these. There are many factors at play. For example, someone who is obese in a polluted area, do the die due to the pollution or being obese? Next, data suggests that air quality is improving. The EPA says that. Mix with the fact that car ownership is low suggests that pollution is dropping. Finally, there exists a lot of doubt in climate change as a whole. I recommend "Why We Disagree About Climate Change" by Mike Hulme. Great book.

@kimasujuru7658 the EPA says air pollution is dropping as well. Even currently. Also, since 2008 cat ownership has dropped which means less emissons.

@kimasujuru7658 how we measure these stats is challenging. I rather trust Yale over Vox

@kimasujuru7658 , to add, getting numbers on this issue is very difficult as other factors are at play. You have genetics, overall health, lifestyle, etc. And considering how the EPA has air quality improving for decades, car ownership is own, and current cars give out less emissions, I have a hard time believing this article from Vox.

@destinal_in_reality , I agree. Saying it is skyrocketing is disingenuous.

@kimasujuru7658 , really? Pruitt has said many times that climate change is happening and that man plays a role. If you are going to criticize someone you have to do it fairly if you want to be taken seriously. Besides, a lot of the numbers were pre Pruitt. It isn't about lifestyle effecting pollution, but lifestyle effecting overall health. Someone who is obese in a polluted area dies early how can you tell if it was by bad air or by obesity? You really can't. With genetics, some people are genetic superior to handle bad air. Again, car ownership is down. So even with older cars there are less of them. The numbers are there and are all over the place. I looked at Web of Science for Scholarly articles on this topic and, as expected, I did not get a direct answer as stats like these are very difficult to obtain. But again, you feel Pruitt denies climate change despite zero evidence suggesting that.

Car ownership is low compared to previous years.

Ok, so what is your solution? Go back to horses?

Because this is an exaggeration.

@shlomochosenitestein766 , exactly. How do you not know what a farm looks like? How can one be that uncultured?
