  2. I think the people doing this need to read that constitution again. Approval of the Senate is needed. They are doing their job. Damn people in this country are dumb. If I was one of those senators I will highlight that part of the constitution, which in in Article 2 Section 2, and mail it back with a nice letter saying "please learn to read".

Two "He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, ...." From the Constitution Article 2 Section 2. Notice the "and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate" Please learn to read.

Also the Senate has every power to do this. I am not saying I agree with what they are doing, I am saying they have the power to do this. Kyle, and the people sending copies of the constitution to Grassley seem to not understand that which is why I am pointing it out. Also, if a democrat congress were to do this to Bush or Reagan you would applaud them. So don't talk about hypocrisy. Maybe democrats should find a way to get a higher voter turnout during the midterms so that the republicans don't have control of congress to do this.
