This is why we need state rights.  When the federal government creates high taxes as opposed to a tax on the states then companies leave the country.  When a state does it then Walmart goes to another state, at least they keep their profits in the US.  You are complaining about this problem but it can once again be solved with state rights. Walmart does do a lot of good.  It offers low prices at convenient places and time.  The place I shop at regularly is priced higher and is only open 6-11.  At times when I am working late I would like to go there at 1 in the morning but have to go to Walmart.  They don't pay more because they simply can't afford more.  The place I shop pays their workers comparable wages, so do other retail stores such as Target or Safeway or Hy Vee.  Bashing Walmart is not going to solve anything.
