The reality is that healthcare is complex. Going for "medicare for all" grossly oversimplifies this complex issue. This is why it won't work.

@howdydutt1e , Pool has a moderate approach in his analysis and videos, that is why he is popular. Compare that to Kyle who says the same handful of talking points over and over again with zero analysis.
2
@MelMelodyWerner , Tim is left leaning I agree, and he is a moderate. Kyle is as radical as it gets and that is shown with his handful of talking points he has. He says the same handful of things over and over again with zero substance.

Healthcare is more complicated than what Bernie proposes, thus Bernie has no plan either.

A lot of people like their plan. Also, getting rid of insurance and centralizing the program is not really the best solution. Basically your argument is comparable to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YziagkVsWY

@dwaynesmith8986 , Medicare for all will ban private insurance. Read Bernie's bill, that is what it pushes for.

@MBarberfan4life , and establishing is not that easy in a nation of 320+ million people where healthcare is 1/6 of a $20 trillion economy.

810 land , what makes you think we have worse outcomes? There is plenty of data to suggest we have high outcomes. Saying that we have "worse outcomes" is vague. In what ways? What is your measure? I suggest you read the book "In Excellent Health" by Stanford Prof. Scott Atlas. You criticize me for saying fear mongering words when you simply had talking points of "worse outcomes".

810 land , people die in every nation due to lack of access to healthcare. Life expectancy is influenced by factors outside of healthcare. For example, the US is number 1 of OECD nations in obesity rates. Higher obesity increases the chance of death. In fact, with our high obesity rates how we have great outcomes shows how strong our system really is.

Mark Afanasiev , they are regressives. Just listen to them talk or what they write. They say the same handful of talking points over and over again no matter how much counter evidence you give them. On healthcare you have one guy saying the US has worse outcomes where I cited a book by a Stanford professor that argues otherwise. They will point to polling data which is unreliable as the people being polled are not experts on the issue of healthcare. They have no actual substance to their arguments, only talking points.

It is low quality and high cost.

@MelMelodyWerner , Kyle is as radical as it gets. He has nothing but talking points for what he supports and he refuses to accept that there are legit arguments from the other side. His arguments boil down to this "My ideas are popular and obviously correct thus if you disagree with them you are corrupt or not educated". That's it. Take healthcare for example, he has a handful of talking points, points to an opinion poll, and then claims victory. Meanwhile there are experts who disagree with Medicare for all. For example, Kyle claims we have worse outcomes and nations with single payer have better outcomes and thus is it is obvious that we should go to Medicare for all. Meanwhile, experts like Katherine Baicker and Scott Atlas disagree. Scott Atlas, a Stanford professor, wrote the book "In Excellent Health" that argues the US has great outcomes in healthcare. Kyle is a radical because he accepts no position besides his own. He has no substance to his arguments beyond talking points and he feels anyone who disagrees with him are either corrupt or uneducated. That makes him a radical.

No society covers everyone unless they are very small and very rich.
