  1. Bernie is a weak general election candidate. They are going to take parts of him that will appeal to voters. There is a lot about Bernie that people hate, particularly his socialist policies. Bernie running off the platform of free shit will lead to him losing with moderates. The vast majority of the country doesn't want the federal government messing up more programs such as healthcare and college education.
