@Menace__ , it wasn't racist.

@soccerruben1 , how was it racist? This is why Trump is president. You say something is racist when it isn't.
2
@Bluebelle51 , it isn't racist. Every politician exaggerates. Welcome to politics. But it is in no way racist.
2
@NN-sp9tu , it wasn't because they are not white. Really, do you people see only race? Are you people that racist?
2
@stonedaurelius6496 , it is "racist" because she is a woman of color, that is the far left's standard. No different than if you criticized Obama you were considered a racist. Reality is they have no way to defend Omar so they call her critics racists.
2
You do know that "trickle down economics" is not even an economic term? It is a political talking point driven to useful idiots.
2
@albertcovington9942 , you are correct. What the far left doesn't realize is that no matter what system is in place the rich will do well. The rich are rich for a reason, they are intelligent and well connected. So it comes down to how do you want them to become rich? Do you want them to become rich through power from government and corruption or do you want them to become rich by actually serving us, the people? I pick the latter. To have that you need a free market. The former is from large government. Look at our politicians, they keep getting richer where even their savior Bernie made a million recently.

You don't pay for tax cuts. Kyle should stop talking about economics. Also, most federal revenue comes from income taxes, not corporate taxes. One idea of cutting corporate taxes is that they hire more people and give out higher wages and thus income tax revenue increase. Kyle doesn't understand economics.

@kennethmcneil3478 , your comment shows I am winning.
1
@Direksone , how is it racist? You claim it is because she is a person of color. They aren't attacking her because of her color. What about when they chant to lock up Clinton? How would label that?
1
@Bluebelle51 , how?
1
@Username-ei4ff , I see no difference. I also don't see how it is racist.
1
@Thezuule1 , how about the guy trying to bomb the ICE facility? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESGnB66Whtk&t=422s
1
@Username-ei4ff Omar is from a bad country. Also, exaggerating is not being prejudice, every politician does it
1
@Username-ei4ff all politicians exaggerate. That is what he was doing
1
@Bluebelle51 she was born out of the US
1
@Username-ei4ff sure, you can do that. Both sides do it to stir emotions.
1
@Sharonformation , no, only racists feel it is racist as they don't see people, they see race.

@sh0werp0wer "This was, after all, warned by Every. Single. Reputable. Economist." I kind of doubt that. When people say something like that they are dismissing the argument. The economy is improving under Trump. Is it going as fast we we would like? No, but a couple reasons for that is because one, the Fed raised interest rates, and two, companies are still keeping their money overseas and are not yanking them back in the country for the time being.
1
@sh0werp0wer , "trickle down economics" is purely a political talking point used by politicians and those involved in it to stir emotions as opposed to actually discussing actual policy. Economics is more complex than just to use talking points but people in politics take advantage of useful idiots. Both sides do it, but the phrase "trickle down economics" is just that, a talking point designed to perturb useful idiots. As for your other points, evolution is a theory which is important. As a scientist myself I know a lot about this. It being a theory means it is a model. It isn't set in stone and can be changed when more evidence is gathered. That is what is so great about science and it being a theory, it has the ability to change. And it is climate change. On that point read Mike Hulme's book "Why We Disagree About Climate Change". It isn't pointing out random semantics, it is pointing out that people are using talking points to avoid a more in depth discussion on the issues. With "trickle down economics" if you were to push people to actually explain it they will resort to some talking points of giving tax cuts to the rich or deregulation or even giving money to the rich, that's about it. You ask them to go farther they really can't. We need to look beyond talking points.

@stonedaurelius6496 , to be fair Sweden also appears to have a more simplified tax code than us. You point to the Laffer curve which will be hard to use in the US due to our many tax brackets and also many forms of taxes. In Sweden they have more of a flat tax compared to us. Not saying I disagree with you, just saying there are differences. But it does bring up a point. People on the far left, like Kyle and his fans, want to copy countries like Sweden, but they ignore information like what you presented but claim the facts are on their side.
1
@sh0werp0wer , care to present these models?
1
How you will pay for it is something that should be discussed. Also, tax cuts arguably are a way increase revenue. How about we cut from social welfare programs to pay for this thing.
1
@ChrisPage68 , that is around 4% of GDP and defense spending has been dropping for decades https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/MS.MIL.XPND.GD.ZS?locations=US Also, watch this video, he talks about defense spending near the end https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl_2J391hZc
