Most funding from the federal government is for Title I schools. It being funded locally is a huge difference between it being funded federally. The reason why is because at the local level the people can see if their tax dollars are working well for them. So right away, not a good start for you. Thanks for proving my point. Again on public libraries, funding locally. You are proving my point again. When I said ran and funding locally I am meaning local government. If you pick my brain on the issues I support stronger, more local government. So oh boy, keep proving my point. Same with public parks.   8.  CrazyReii  , it isn't moving the goal posts. Some areas use tax dollars, some don't. It is just a different form. For example, in a lot of areas fire fighters are volunteer. In others taxes pay for them. It all depends on what the people want.

For example, many rural areas have volunteer fire fighters, dirt roads with no stop signs. And the only way the road gets plowed is when farmer John hooks up his tractor and does it. This is actually a major reason why, on economic issues, and not splitting hairs, people in urban areas typically vote blue and people in rural areas typically vote red where democrats are for more government and republicans are for less government. In rural areas there is less of a desire to have government where in urban areas there is more of a desire to have government. This is why centralized systems won't work.

  27. Teachers are a part of a public union. Bernie is a strong supporters of unions. This is essentially legalized money laundering being done.

  31.  @katthudson9131  , sure, I agree. But with public workers they are working off of the taxpayers' dime. We employ them essentially. And when they use money to donate to a politician promising to raise those workers' wages, which again is paid for by the taxpayers, that is an issue.

  35.  Prophet  , I am working on it, believe me. But again, even after I do Sam and his fan base will deny him ever being wrong. That is the main issue. I will be calling into his show and his fan base will be listening and their fan base will just do what they always do, just point and laugh saying "look at that idiot". I am not afraid, I need to find the time and also question how productive it will actually be.
