If people are educated than candidates like Bernie Sanders would not exist.

CutThroatJuggalo, being "educated" does not mean being intelligent. As I prove here time and time again many people on the left are highly ignorant on the topics.
2
David, the issue is that these issue are very complex. The more "informed" you are on them the more questions you end up asking. There are legit arguments on both sides and to become informed on them requires a lot of time.
1
Bernie Sanders has no desire to listen to the other side.
1
Jace, and that is why Trump won. To the left anyone who disagrees with them are labeled stupid.
1
Get Real, Vermont is a predominately white state with the 2nd smallest population in the nation and essentially no problems. Not really a solid argument. People in Wyoming constantly vote for republicans.
1
Watching Kyle would do that.
1
Erik, what Kyle says can easily be countered with legit arguments and facts. Anyone who is educated on the topics Kyle talks about would realize what a fool he is.

It is arguable that removing the min. wage will lead to a wage increase for several reasons.
1
Billsama Bin Clinten, even if you take into account inflation wages are arguably rising. The issue is that there are many ways to calculate inflation. People who say wages are stagnate or not rising are looking at one inflation measure, typically CPI. There is PCE and also you can factor in the numbers from the Boskin Commission.
1
F Z, states with higher min. wages usually have higher teenage unemployment.
1
Erik, artificially raising wages means higher inflation.
1
Redbeardian, production drives the economy. You can't consume what you don't produce.
1
Brittany, because raising taxes means they will have less in their paycheck.
1
Erik, Ant Man has a legit point. If raising the min. wage means a strong economy than why not $40 and hour? You don't have an answer so you just name call. What wage is "livable"? That is completely subjective.
1
Erik, the living status of a wage is subjective as it depends on your living conditions. I can break down how I can live off of $6/hr. That is not to say that everyone can. Someone with kids will need a higher wage. Someone with roommates could live off of a lower wage. It is all subjective. What is the endpoint, and why? Give the the numbers and your reasoning. You haven't making your argument very flawed. That is why you name call as opposed to having a civil argument.
1
Erik, so it is uncivilized for workers and employers to agree on a wage and that worker works for it?
