  2. Except since the passage of Obamacare mass shootings per year went up over 100%. I wrote a comment about it.

Using one standard of number of mass shootings (where three or more people are killed, combining the definition of a mass killing by the FBI and the fact it happened as a shooting), there were 38 under Obama. Now to be fair the law did not come into effect until March of 2010, so from then until now we have had 34 mass shootings. So 34 in around 6.5 years is 5.2 a year. Before Obamacare from 1982 to then we have had 50 mass shootings. So in around 27 years that is less than 2 mass shootings a year. Now I know there are several factors involved in this, such as a poor economy, and just more people being around all together (and liberals will blame the guns), but there is a link between mental illnesses and shootings. Murders have dropped as well, but that was the trend before Obamacare. As a whole I hear nothing but fear mongering from the left on this issue. Insurance companies are not just going to drop everyone. That is not how it works. You have that insurance for a set time. After the law is repealed people need to find a way to adjust for that. The idea is that the economy will grow allowing a lot that will supposedly lose their insurance have other means of getting it. So I really don't seen an issue here.

  8. Gage, I agree with your statement. I, as a doctorate student, so research that can be used to help out the medical field and I also teach on campus. My problem is that all these liberals want "Free healthcare" and "free college" and when asked how to pay for it they all cry "taxes" or "the 1%" or "millionaires and billionaires and corporations". But how many of them are going to become doctors, nurses, researchers, professors, surgeons and so on to provide those services to people? What are you planning to do? It is easy to promise to give away other people's money, but how about you do some work.

  9. I am earning my doctorate in physical chemistry. I have a physic and chemistry degree. I have a friend who does nuclear engineering and I have other friends who do research in plasma physics. We all work just as hard. It seems like I triggered you which displays your lack of maturity.
