The middle east is a mess. If we enter it is a mess, if we stay out it is a mess. Honestly we need to be there to keep an eye on the situation. If we don't then it will eventually become our mess. It is the whole keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer idea. We spend more money and time trying to keep peace, it isn't easy though. I do honestly wish we do pull out of other countries and then see what happens. When the world becomes a mess and WWIII starts people will beg for actions.
