@TheRatsintheWalls the science is all over the place here. The problem is that we are only listen to one select group of scientists and censoring others. We are only listening to people like Dr. Fauci, or Dr. Birx, or Dr. Redfield or Dr. Ashish Jha, who are, in my mind, administrators, not scientists. Not saying we should not listen to them, but there are others out there. Prof. Scott Atlas is being censored. You had the two doctors in Bakersfield and Prof. John Ioanndis. Also, the former mentioned doctors keep changing their arguments and just fear monger. And there is no consistency in what we are doing.

@craiggosnay6991 I agree, that is why Trump is president. Our parties are not working together so the people made a statement.

@fahimp3 define "expert consensus". Also, again, as I said, many experts are being censored or ignored. In reality only a handful of "scientists", that all so happen to work for the CDC or administration, are the ones fear mongering about this. And as I said, they are all over the place in that they keep changing their stance often. So basically what you are saying is that you are easily fooled and really cannot think for yourself.

@mrtekbunny what was wrong with what I said? Again, the only "scientists" that are being pushed are those in the CDC, all others are being censored. That is anti science in itself.

It isn't so much that but more of how nothing we are doing is consistent. When the VP debate took place glass was placed in between both candidates, but not between them and the moderator. Or with Trump and masks. Trump had a mask, but in the debate he said it correct. One, they were all tested and two they were far apart. Besides, the idea is to stop an infected person from spreading it. When he became infected he wore it. On my campus they are making us wear masks everywhere outside and inside despite over 90% of classes being remote and no one is around. Or how a group of 5 students sit together and take the masks off when they eat.

@craiggosnay6991 republicans passed a stimulus bill, democrats denied it. Also, I know it is more of a liability situation, but at some point some of our "leaders" and "experts" should bring up these issues.
