The right is making an economic argument where Kyle is making an emotional one. This, once again, shows that at the very core the political left bases their ideas on facts and logic where the left bases their ideas on emotions. Not saying that is bad, just stating that is what it is. What those on the right said true where Kyle would pull the emotional card of "you want people to die!".

@redenginner , in the end resources are limited. Yes, there is an emotional side to it, but there is also the limitation of resources.

They are correct though. You are asking health insurance company to cover people after they are sick. That is not what insurance is for. The problem is that the left has pushed insurance to become healthcare giving a lot of power to insurance companies.

I know, he got us Trump.

Kyle, it can be. Also, the comparison to cars and homes is legit. If your home catches on fire you don't go out and buy home insurance later.
2
If you want to do that than fine, but understand that prices will go up at that point.

A lot of people can help pre-existing conditions.

A home is just as important as life. You need a home to be able to live.

DCLUVSPIE, I agree, there should be empathy, but at times economics does not care about that. When resources are limited they are limited. No amount of emotions will change that.
1
Kyle, no, it is that healthcare is a commodity that requires goods and services. You can't just expect to receive it if you need if when resources are limited. Same is with a car. If your car is hit someone has to repair it. Nothing is free. There is no magic wand to cure everything.
1
@kyle9401 , it isn't so much about paying with taxes, resources are limited. You will also pay with lower quality.
1
@Jersonx3000 , we have a waiting lists for organs. Yes, resources are limited.
1
@SalatAlaNabii , no I wouldn't. You see, I make my opinions regardless who comes up with them because I can think for myself.
