We can look at numbers all you want but in reality economics is driven a lot on how people act. People fail to understand why someone is rich to begin with. It is because people are willing to give them money. The Kardashians are rich because people watch their dumb show. Baseball players are rich because people like me are willing to pay $120/yr for a MLBTV subscription. The economy is how people act and when new taxes and regulations are put in place people act differently.
