There was little incentive to work due to low paying jobs. Labor participation is growing as wages are going up increasing the incentive to work. With labor participation going up unemployment should not be dropping, but it is. At this trend wages will go up due to increase demand for labor which is why interest rates are increasing, to prevent inflation. It would behoove you to study some economics.

Harsh reality" If you majored in economics you would realize that automation means goods and services are cheaper and better which essentially is a wage increase for people. When goods and services are cheaper consumers have more purchasing power. Also, automation allows people to focus on other tasks which also grows our economy. That's economics.
