K-12 education is funded locally. Also, by percent GDP, we spend around the same in defense as we do education. That includes more than just teachers' salaries.

Count Deku, it has gotten to the point where I literally give peer reviewed sources to people to show how wrong Kyle is and people deny it. The people hear are the dumbest in society. In the end it does not matter, Trump is successful and this channel is losing views.

Mitchem Callahan, fox news and msnbc are not the audience, and they get called out a lot. I agree that at times Kyle's fans call him out, but not much considering how many errors he makes. They are far from moderate, they are extreme left. Kyle says a lot that is easily debunked but his fans defend his ideas way too strongly.

Mitchem, many rip on Fox and MSNBC all the time on Twitter or even on Youtube. As for Kyle, he is an extremist. He says there is no argument against the min. wage when there is as there are many experts who oppose it. He says there is no argument against universal healthcare where there is. I posted a book by two professors on the issue. You can support certain policies but if you say there is no counter argument for the ones you support that is a problem. He completely dismisses the other side. I oppose the min. wage but I see the argument for it in certain cases. Most of the time on these comment thread I am trying to show people there are arguments on the other side that are legit.

Mitchem, Kyle harps on fact checking and wanting to inform people. However, him saying there is no argument on certain issues is factually incorrect. There are. There are arguments on both sides by experts. Along with fact checking he said Ted Cruz supported a ban on dildos when fact checking showed that to be false. Kyle lives in a bubble. He refuses to debate people for asinine reasons and never has guest on his shows or callers. He refuses to challenges himself but then rips on the other side by calling them stupid saying they do not have an argument. That is a radical.

It is fair to say that it is a hyperbole and I see your point there. At that point the problem is his audience and that, I feel, is where my issue arises. I post counter viewpoints here and many label me as a "right winger" or a "conservative" when I am a moderate. That is a problem. His own fans should question what he say. To be honest I come here to get a left wing viewpoint on issues just like I go to radical right wing sources. From there I find a median as I feel both sides have legit arguments. I get annoyed with Kyle's fans in how they will simply go with the same sources he does without question.

Cursive is an archaic form of writing. It was designed to write long documents faster because the pencil did not leave the paper as much, so over a course of many pages you save time. Now we have computers which save time as it is faster to type than write. As technology grows you adjust and focus on other things to develop in society. How many people know how to use a spinning wheel to sew? Not many if any. Why? Because we have machines now.

Venom 9390, it has nothing with them being lazy. In fact, I support a system where teachers in high demand get paid more. Teachers that teach special ed, the STEM courses and/or Title I schools. To do that you have to reform the teacher unions. Also, teachers sign 180 contracts. Compared to what they produce they are paid enough.

Raizhen010, I am always honest in what I say. I am a PhD student. You don't have to believe me but I am. I never once said I was wealthy. I earn $23,000 a year. I am not part of a union. Instead of countering what I say you lie about me and smear me. You are the type of people that are fans of this channel that is losing views. You are supporting a losing side for a reason. Tony H, I never said I was a "youngish kid". As for a masters, I never once said I was working on one unless you include the MBA courses I take on the side. If you can find any comment where I changed who I was I will admit that I lied. However, you can't. You will not find any comment saying I am working on my masters unless it was me saying I am taking MBA courses and possibly getting my MBA. Just like Raizhen010 will never find a comment where I said I was a union worker or wealthy. You, like Raizhen010, smear me instead of trying to counter what I say. Raizhen010, in support of federally ran healthcare you pointed to fire departments. You also said that there are no private fire departments which I proved you wrong. When I did you said they were a bad idea when many places still have them. If they are a bad idea why do the local communities still have them? Fires do spread, but you need to understand why. Concrete does not catch on fire despite what you claim. You say fire "jumps", that is vague. Does it jump on concrete? No. It may jump from one flammable material to another, but they have to be in close proximity. You keep bringing up "magic concrete". I am waiting for you to give me "magic concrete" that can burn. Forests usually don't have concrete. If they do they have a minute amount of it compared to the vegetation in place. You keep harping on one thing that I have addressed over and over again. You have gotten to the point in saying that forests now have a lot of concrete. Really, how long are you going to go with this? I am now also going to wait for this forest that is mostly concrete as well. Uh, volunteer means volunteer. And again, there are private fire departments. And the fact that is it local does play a major role. Education is local and they have their own standards. You can't look at a local program and then say that the federal government can run healthcare. It is comparing apples and oranges. This "bigger pool" idea is not a strong argument. You say "more healthy people" and I can easily counter with more unhealthy people. But hey, you feel concrete can catch on fire.......oh hell, I moved on from that. Let me stick with the healthcare argument. The whole "more healthy people" is poor. Healthy people are not a burden on they system and they are typically young and do not have much money that can be taxed to begin with. Also, again, you are adding more unhealthy people to the system to weigh it down. At the local level you can micromanage it easier like they do with education. In education you have students who will weigh down average scores, but you can cater to them differently if needed. At the federal level you can't. You see, I do not need to bring up your asinine comments from the past to counter what you say. I can stick to the topic. You know why? Because I actually know what I am talking about.

Insurance is there to counter the inelastic demand of a good/service. At times healthcare demand is inelastic. At times it isn't. If I need something that is not an emergency it is elastic and I can shop around. If it is an emergency it become inelastic and insurance comes in. Like car insurance will not cover oil changes but will pay if someone hits my car. So when you say "community pools" and "that is how insurance works", you are 100% wrong on the purpose and idea of insurance. Insurance is there in case you need it but hopefully won't use it. It is literally "planning for the worst but hoping for the best". No a problem in this country is that insurance has become healthcare, and I feel that needs to be changed. Thta is where I feel problems are with our healthcare system. But that is due to the lack of a free market system in healthcare and our our employer based healthcare insurance system that is in place due to government policies. But that sides, your idea on insurance is 100% false. Why do car insurance companies kick off bad drivers? Why do many healthcare insurance companies offer lower rates to those who have smaller waist lines? If it is a "pool" wouldn't they charge everyone the same?
