  5. He didn't bomb them so you can't blame Trump on that. Banning them is actually smart in that it forces them to fix their own problems. Japan after we bombed them did it and now they are a technological powerhouse with high life expectancy.

  6. The electoral college was designed to give the states the vote, not the people. It was because we are the United States, not United People. This is also why we never used to have a federal income tax, it was a tax on the states. The design was that the states were ran by the people and the federal government was ran by the states.

  7. Pacific, the idea of the constitution was to limit government and spread the powers around. That does not change as all throughout history when too much power is concentrated in government it becomes oppressive. The popular vote will never make any decision at the federal level nor should it.

  8. Pacific, one, that is not what people want. Democrats would not be complaining about the Electoral College if they won. Even at that no one is making a big deal about it besides radicals like Kyle. Next, it will give certain states and really cities more power. The powers will be isolated into CA, IL, NY and so on. And really Chicago, NYC, LA and major cities. Look at the map, Trump won 30 states. That spreads the power.
