The democrats are in piss poor shape right now considering how the GOP controls the federal government and most state and local offices. Protesting isn't going to achieve anything. Also, I love how Kyle feels we can't deport all illegals as it is impossible. But somehow we can afford college and healthcare?

  4. Bernie owns three homes....how is that in touch with the common man? Paul Ryan only owns one (besides his rentals). He sleeps in a cot in his office in DC. Why doesn't Bernie do that?

  5. Paul Ryan did not run a campaign on taking money from the rich simply because they are rich. Bernie did. He ran a campaign that " so few have so much" and thus felt we should tax them their "fair share" to get them to pay. Meanwhile it is OK for him to own three homes. How about Bernie lead by example. "Bernie sanders is the only politician who has a track record showing he fights for the working class" How? Anyone can run their mouth. Anyone can say "tax the rich" and give out false promises of free shit. The guy is a sociopath. He attacks the rich full on and owns three homes himself. Why didn't he take that money he got from selling the house he inherited and donated it?

He is not the one who is a doctor or a professor who has to provide these services to others. "Bernie does donate to charity," In 2014 he donates a smaller percentage of his income than Hillary did. "and I'm sure when you get money you're just dying to donate it. " I only make $21,000 a year. But I donate my time. As a TA who teaches physics I am only required to have one office hour. I hold more and tutored several of my students, for free, for their lecture course. One I spent 3 hours a week doing it for free. So I donate my time. "I know plenty of working class people who own more than one property, " I don't have a problem with that, they are not the ones who are hypocrites. "Just because you own a house doesn't make you rich." In the US you are considered well off if you do considering how the average person has around 60% of their wealth tied into their home. "So you're telling me it's wrong that a 70 year old man had a house that's paid off and one he's paying on? " As long as he is not a hypocrite I don't care. One, that is competition which is a part of capitalism that Bernie hates. Also, that would have created a whole new mess with laws and regulations and would not have solved anything. What we need to do is install competition with the US healthcare system.

"Bernie doesn't hate capitalism," Yes he does. With healthcare, though, I will give you two questions that to me outline our problems. 1. Why do so many employers offer their employees healthcare insurance as opposed to a higher wage? 2. Why does healthcare insurance equal healthcare in this country?
