Now does that mean Bernie supports shooting politicians? No. But if you want to discuss this topic you have to be fair which you aren't. Instead of blaming people we should be realizing that a person is just crazy. What has Trump said that will cause this shooting? Trump's son in law is Jewish. Trump opened an embassy in Israel. People are just hating on Trump and the political right for no reason. This is is why we have Trump as president. Instead of engaging in intelligent conversation we just name call.

  22. Richard, I glanced at the stat and most were done by "religious extremist" which they label as right wing. Also, it becomes difficult to define a terror attack. Joseph Stalin was an atheist and thus by that standard we can say he was "left wing" and killed thousands of his people, but that is not listed as a terror attack. Same for Kim Jong if you want to play that game.

  33. Richard, same sex marriage was never banned. The government just didn't recognize it. To ban it would mean to arrest people for practicing it. Before the SC ruling two gay individuals could claim to be married, the government just never recognized it. And yes, you have to be a homicidal maniac to be an extremist. Setting standards in our laws which influences how our culture acts and the economics of our society is one thing, killing people is extreme.

If you married someone of the same sex in your eyes than nothing happened, the government just didn't recognize it.

  41. Punching someone who is disrupting a rally is completely different than encouraging murder or starting a riot in public. Also, you have to understand what it means to "ban" something. To ban it means if you actually practice that act you go to jail or are fined. The point is government did not recognize gay marriage. Compare it to this which is recent. University of Central Florida football in 2017 claimed they were national champions as they were undefeated. However, the NCAA does not recognize them as such. UCF makes a claim but on the record they aren't. No one is punished though. The same idea holds for gay marriage for years. A gay couple could claim they are married but the law never recognized it. N one gets fined nor goes to jail. See the difference? I doubt it as you ultra leftists love to move the goal posts.

  42. To add, on marriage, it really brings up the question on what is the government's role in marriage if there should be one at all? It is more of marriage is a personal issue as opposed to a government one where other alternatives can be made instead of having government be involved in marriage. On that issue the political left is missing the bigger picture.

  54. Richard, let me explain to you the difference between banning something and not recognizing something. Federal law bans fully automatic fire arms. If I have one without being licensed I will go to jail. Why? Because they are banned. Now say I were to call my shot gun a fully automatic fire arm. It isn't by definition, but say I were to call it that. The government would not recognize it as such and thus I would be allowed to own that gun. Another example on recognition. Say I were to read a lot of books, write a lot of essays, and do a lot of problems related to math, physics, chemistry, etc. out of college text books. After a few years of that I draw up a diploma and claim I have a college degree. I frame it an post it on my wall and everything. Now while I may say I have a college degree, and may have done a lot of work in the process, no one will recognize it as I never actually done the work in an accredited college. I would not go to jail, it just won't be recognized. I can dig deeper. Look up Watson v US. In that case an individual traded a gun for drugs. Now there is a law that carries a harsher sentence whenever a gun is used in a drug deal. Now one can say a gun was used in that drug deal where the gun was exchanged for drugs. But the court ruled that the idea of "use" is using the gun for violence. Trading it is not "using" the gun. So while using a gun in a drug deal is "banned", the court recognized that situation was not "using" the gun and thus there wasn't a harsher sentence. I can go on and give many more examples, but the point is this, homosexual marriage was never banned in the US, it simply was not recognized by the government. I encourage you to understand the difference if you want to have an opinion on these issues.

Asking to punch them is not the same as killing. Just recently two GOP candidates, in Minnesota if I recall, were beaten and hospitalized where one almost died. Someone was sending Trump and his family members letters with ricin in them.  Or when an antifa person attacked a journalist who was filming them by putting stables in their head. Or look at the violence in Portland, OR where the mayor there supports them. There are many examples on violent actions on the left that the media chooses to ignore. As for your points, 1. The 70% are mainly religious extremist and thus classified as "right wing". That does not mean they support other right wing ideas economically, socially or in government. Saying "right wing" is very broad and vague. Kim Jong is "left wing" in many was, that does not mean everyone on the left supports communism. 2. I looked up the shooter at an abortion clinic. Glancing at it the most recent one was 2 years ago. 3. A "racist shooter" does not mean "right wing". 4. In this incident you have a peaceful protest that became violent when BLM and antifa showed up. Eventually someone was going to die. If it wasn't from that person with the car someone from antifa would have done it. You had two extreme groups acting in violence. Both sides are to blame. 5. Haven't heard of this one, I will have to punt. 6. I mentioned this one earlier, also, this was 2 years ago. 7. This man was already crazy with multiple felonies. Trump had nothing to do with this. 8. Ok, and? Again, Trump had nothing to do with this. Another crazy person. 9. Didn't hear this one either, I will have to punt. 10. Care to give proof? Anyway, I just gave you three very recent examples of people on the left attacking others. You are going back 2 years. Fact is there is a lot of violence on the left, the media does not report it as they are bias towards the left. This is why Trump attacks the media and this is why Trump won, people are tired of the BS.
