Uh, hourly compensation has arguably not been stagnant. This guy is confused on the data. On productivity you have marginal vs actual productivity. While the McDonald's worker has not increased in productivity, many people in advanced fields have and they have seen wages. It is a concept called "Skilled Biased Technological Change". Next, increase in productivity has led to a decrease in prices. Consider how we went from $400 brick cell phones to smart phones. Or how cars are safer and last longer.

Actually they are. They support private unions, it is public unions they oppose as that is literally legalized money laundering. It was crony unionism pushed by the left and public unions that killed unions.

@brandonm949 some came from suicides and substance abuse overdose. You have to consider that. Also, covid deaths are overstated. 94% had comorbidities. Half were over the age of 75. 40% were from nursing homes where according to UCSF 50% of new nursing home patients die in 5 months. So statistically, at least half of those 40% would be dead anyway.

@youngatheart-rq6ic you mean people like Fauci?

@brandonm949 the CDC is a corrupt institution. According to them 94% of deaths had comorbidities. So right away they were sick to begin with. According to the University of MN 40% of deaths were in nursing homes. According to UCSF 50% of new nursing home patients die in 5 months. They were at high risk to begin with and most would be dead anyway. "And two of the comorbidities are obesity and hypertension" So you are saying obesity leads to shorter lifespans? What a shocker. The CDC is not giving the full story. Anyone dying with coronavirus is counted as a covid death. It isn't that simple In statistics you have to weigh out the numbers For example, if someone had a bad heart and coronavirus the virus played a role to a degree, but not 100%. Thus, again, that is why deaths are overstated. "There's a bunch of relatively healthy people in there too." How many? And define "relatively".

@brandonm949 I dismissed them because now they are just releasing that information, why not earlier? Also, what comorbidities? And why don't they adjust for the deaths? Because they are corrupt. You said obesity is high in this nation. That also means heart disease, stroke, dementia and diabetes are as well. And how many of them were because of suicides and substance abuse? A big change were also the lockdowns. COVID has an over 99% survival rate. What diseases will that be? Heart attacks can come out of nowhere. Who cares if they can live for decades, they still high risk. So yes, you can discount COVID. But anyway, why isn't the CDC listing these comorbidities? And why you are ignoring nursing home deaths and that stat I brought up? 40% are from nursing homes were statistically, most will be done at this point anyway. So what did we accomplish?

Look at COVID. Look at how people, especially on the left, acted on that. They acted like fools.

The left is the party of big businesses. Look at people like Gates, Bezos, etc.
