  8. Alicia, a sitting president is too busy to face criminal charges as the president is a very unique position. There is a method to bring a president to trial and it is called impeachment. You have not interacted with people very much. Why do some people go through embarrassment on TV? For fame. Same in why some people do porn. Some people want fame and attention.
