  2. NY was seeing over 900 deaths a day, FL is around 100. FL is going to reach herd immunity with less deaths than NY had.

  4. GA's cases are starting to drop where their deaths never went up. Their deaths are actually lower than when they were in lock down.. They have been the most successful state.

  5. The whole point from the beginning was never to stop the spread completely but to slow it down. That was the whole idea of flattening the curve and herd immunity. At some point we have to say that the spread is slow enough for us to go back to normal.

  6.  @Phentari  cases are starting to drop. By my numbers FL has reached their peak and is approaching herd immunity. So if, over the next couple weeks, cases continue drop will you support opening the schools? Be consistent. Also, deaths are low. And there is data to suggest kids are less likely to become infected thus the spread between them is slow. At this point people are just moving the goal posts.

  7. Deaths are still low and evidence shows that kids are less likely to get the disease. The goal from the beginning was to slow down the spread, and with kids it is slow. It was never about stopping the spread to be zero.
