Some areas have only gravel and dirt roads and when it snows the only time it gets cleared is if a local volunteer clears it. So do you want your healthcare system to be ran like that?

  4. It is much more complicated than that. In healthcare we lack doctors, nurses, surgeons, researchers, and other skilled workers. Increasing demand for healthcare will mean higher prices thus higher taxes. You are not paying for a road here, you are dealing with a multi million dollar industry of highly skilled workers.

We lack professors, TAs, tutors, dorms, classrooms, etc. We lack resources in colleges to provide it for more people. Also, K-12 education is free for everyone in all 50 states. After that you should be able to manage your own life.
