@matthewkheyfets1309 , yes. The scary part is that those pushing for M4A are not being honest here and they deflect every criticism about it as people are simply corrupt. I will be honest, maybe M4A is the best solution for us, I highly doubt it but I will be willing to listen if those who support are honest. They aren't. Will the care be the same? You are adding 30 million people to the system and Bernie's plan will cut payments by 40%. Something has to give.

@matthewkheyfets1309 , exactly. What Bernie supporters don't understand is that they are being fooled, they are useful idiots. These politicians will be fine no matter what, they vote for their own pay raises. The rich are rich because they are intelligent. If you attack them with higher taxes they will find a way to avoid them, many others pay, or simply find a way to make more money. They will remain rich. I hate rich people, I really do. I feel they are narcissist with no morals, but here is the thing, I rather have a situation where they only way they can become rich is by serving us as opposed to playing the system. Under many of these democrats the rich will get rich by playing the system and screwing us. In a free market the rich can only get rich by serving us.

@menamiller50 , yep. That is pretty much what I hear. You see this with many government programs. It creates a problem so they create another government program to "solve" it but it ends up creating more problems. Look at CA, they have a very friendly welfare situation for the homeless. The homeless in San Fran use needles and thus there is an issue of diseases for sharing needles. Instead of changing the welfare situation to alleviate homelessness they offer free needles at clinics with the idea that these drug addicts will return them, they don't. Now the streets are littered with needles. Solution for that? Hire people to pick them up. It compounds. Watching a lot of the debate they really seem to ignore many factors at play. For example, giving people new jobs in the "green" industry is not that simple, How many are actually trained for those jobs?

@matthewkheyfets1309 , exactly. The rich are smart and know the system. They will find a way to get rich. I rather have it be by them serving us. Bezos got rich by making shopping easier for me, not by cheating the system. Bernie has never worked a day in his life, that is his problem.

@JediMobius , what higher paying jobs? You mean doctors and nurses? We lack them to begin with. Every med school has less than a 50% acceptance rate. Being a doctor is challenging. What I find to be sad with far leftists is they want these great things, like healthcare for all, but they are not willing to put in the work to do it. They feel that magically the goods and services will appear. 10% is a lot and far from manageable. If I were to increase your workload by 10% how will you react? The care will change because you are increasing demand in the system without increasing supply. That will cost a lot if you want the same quality of care. Again, if your workload was increased by 10% I imagine you will demand a raise. Under Bernie's plan, though, he will pay 40% less. That will mean less access and lower quality. If I were to cut your pay by 40% how will you react? Something has to give. This is very basic economics, I mean as basic as it gets. You can't expect to add 30 million people to healthcare and not expect it to be very expensive. You can't expect to reduce pay by 40% and not expect a drop in quality and access. To feel that way is pure ignorance. As for Bernie's point, he doesn't know how insurance companies, or really any company works. A lot of those profits go to shareholders where shareholders is the reason why these companies are so big to begin with. I am all for healthcare reform, but this is a challenging topic. @Swnsasy , saying it "works" in those nations is flawed. One, they all have something different, next they have many flaws as well such as people going blind in the UK due to the rationing of eye surgery of the NHS and people dying in Canada due to the rationing of heart surgery. But go ahead and ignore those things.
