I said this before but one reason why marriage rates are down, in my opinion, is because we allowed women out of the kitchen. Not saying that is bad, but when both the man and woman have strong goals and want to pursue their own careers, it makes it hard to live a common life. I, myself, refuse to date knowing that within a couple of years I could be gone off to a new career, or the person I will be dating could be leaving for a new career. I fully support women pursing careers and doing what they love, but they have to realize you can't get everything that you want in life, something has to give.
