In terms of well-being that's early 2000s, of course. Powered by the liberal reforms of the 90s and rapidly growing oil prices, economy was booming and people were getting wealthier by every year. Too bad most of them were not smart enough to not link all this thriving to the person of the new leader.

The young Soviet government had such a wild naming practices, it's often hard even for natives to pronounce them properly. Kudos for trying to say "продразвёрстка".

Not as hard as not to see the same about today's Ukraine and other former parts of the USSR. Especially when said corruption gets hugely fueled up by foreign financial help.

@ievgenmajor3301 What times are exactly "prehistoric" for you? When Bolsheviks seized Ukraine in 1920s? Or when Ukraine seized Polish territories in 1910s?

@DogmaticAtheist But isn't this great? So many people can be eaisily manipulated by any propaganda, that tells only the fraction of truth. For example, you can easily omit the fact, that Soviet Union consisted of many republics, like Ukraine, Georgia etc., and then blame all the Soviet atrocities solely on Russians! Even those ones, that were managed by Georgian gensek (leader), Ukrainian narkom(~minister), and executors of all nations (mostly the local ones), like the aforementioned "holodomor".
