"Cleansing", "purging"... Amazing choice of words for a "diversity"-based ideology.
1100
every Linux project that communicates via Discord had already signed their own incompetence
171
tldr; "Interacting with the Untermenchen defined by the US laws is a crime"
159
Sexism as well.

FYI Ian Murdok's death is still not investigated to this day. Yep, the one that stands for "ian" in Debian.
88
Haven't you told us a little earlier, that Linux Foundation has almost nothing to do with Linux already?
63
underrated
62
so, the C++ standards group basically locked themselves to enjoy their own toxicity
49
"My Computer" to have a completely different meaning
45
it's just smart wording and definitely not something stereotypically Jewish
32
1 year without DEI: Linux Foundation purchases Chrome 2 years without DEI: Linux Foundation purchases Google 3 years without DEI: Linux Foundation purchases Alphabet
29
like the old joke about "Sorry, this password belongs to another person"
22
@joesalyers Uhm... Lenin was quite honest in his bloodthirst, he widely used "dictatorship", "terror", "execute" etc. Doublespeak became more common at Stalin era, among with arguably the most liberal and progressive constitution of that time.
22
Or fall into the hands of sponsors.
19
was written left-to-right hence offended all the Hebrew-speaking and also considered as GOP psyop
18
why this person only? If this is a new c++ standard, they must ban everyone who had ever used the q-word, including themselves.
14
And any of your complaints will be considered something-phobic.
13
One day people will not participate in a special olympics of defining the age of a lineart character. But it's definitely not today.
12
tbh the relationships between nerds and their operating systems were always deeply trans-bisexual-bdsm-whatever else may come to your mind now with a humanoid mascot at least
12
What makes you say those policies are "illegal"? Just because they're racist, sexist, or chauvinistic in some other way? But if they are against the ordinary white males or some other Untermenchen caste, they must be perfectly ok.
11
What about the N-word? Still allowed for the privileged class only?
9
You're literally telling the journalists to quit doing what they are paid for and start searching for the truth. They will not.
9
Russian or Chinese people outside their countries - probably. But neither Russia nor China government will never allow existing of an open OS free from, e.g., telemetry, state-imposed encryption keys or classified code.
8
How about the sponsors' money? Had the woke gang taken them all, like the Godot one did?
7
>2k packages installed in an average linux system >each one generates a popup once a year Yes, this is definitely not a Pandora's box.
7
They're just looking forward to the future perspectives of cyborgization. With MS software, of course.
6
My commentary in support for you had just been deleted.
5
@gargamel3478 just look at these persons and look at the people
5
isn't it just Firefox for Android?
5
@qq84 Yep, if you can't set up any others. Which is exactly the opposite of what you'd expect from a Linux project maintainers
5
free and open and woke and dei
5
I don't need a list of genders, better provide a list of actual FF forks.
5
@LarsLarsen77 Except for one race.
5
OpenAI warns DeepSeek is doing all the same but cheaper

You're exaggerating the possible influence of a hypothetical (or even any of the existing) "Russian Linux". You can be absolutely sure that any operating system developed in Russia was, is and will always be filled to the brim with various backdoors, encryption keys, etc. that would make it open for any inspection or modification. Not only for FSB and security services of that kind, but also for any corporation or a gang or whoever that can collude with the formers. Consequently, the only ones that use Russian Linuxes are those who are forced to do that and can't refuse, like Russian enterprise or government organizations. And yes, these OS's never do much to remove the foreign vulnerabilities from the forked code either.

@EstraNiato DEI

Actually, it's pretty convenient, at least for me, that desktop Linux is not that popular and thus it's not attracting various malicious activities. Let the bad guys stay focused on Windows, Apple and Android products.
4
bro just bought all the pokemons
4
If disabling journald is not an option you can at least create a small ramdisk and dedicate it for logging.
3
It's you who doesn't seem to realize that the plural form of those persons is never people.
3
@kbz396 yeah why does everyone hate god objects they're so convenient
3
So, where exactly did all the white male core developers go? What company hired the most devs refused by Apple?
3
*his family
3
Everything must be tested in a sandbox first. Great if you have a spare PC to torture, but in most cases a virtual machine is much more convenient.
2
usually, Gnome environment used Epiphany (Web) as a default browser, KDE uses Konqueror... For most distros, Firefox is optional.

You may make a fictional Blackduke to check your theory. Or to have some fun at least.
