@alonzoharris9049 "The official copies which Uthman dispatched to the provincial centers are long gone. At present a few copies of the Quran do exist that are popularly attributed to the third caliph, each bearing the appellation of 'Mushaf Uthman'. There is a disagreement among the scholars however as to whether they are truly Uthmanic. One of these, an almost complete copy that is missing only a couple of folios, is preserved at the Topkapi Sarayi Museum; the second is kept at the Turk ve Islam Eserleri Muzesi Museum. Both are in Istanbul. A third lies in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A fourth copy is preserved at al-Mashhad al-Huseini Mosque in Cairo, a fifth is in the Institute of Oriental Studies, St Pietersburg." (The History of the Quranic Text, page 172, last paragraph heading EXISTING MUSHAFS WHICH ARE ASCRIBED TO CALIPH UTHMAN)
The most complete copy is missing a couple of folios!!! The most famous and most studied is the one in Tashkent, ranked 3rd in order of completeness!!! There is not a single complete Uthman manuscript in the world, which is why the challenge was issued. Do you think they would pose such a challenge without proper research? We are not liars like you Muslims because we know we will be found out and be shamed. You just don't care!
